r/Manhua · You might call them slops or trash but the adventurous & thrilling feelings these titles gave to me when i just started in this medium was so different back then

No one is arguing they werent good at one point or another, its just that the authors all ran out of ideas, went nowhere or just rehashed until completion or cancellation. It also doesnt help when every story was the same or just very predictable. No new innovation of ideas, no attempt to be its own story, just cookie cutter and next. Whats new in the genre is manhua adaptation of a novel, does well, keeps going and is actually good or unique, stop being a manhua and becomes a display of the characters but the entire story beat are told through speech bubbles and effectively becomes the novel

r/manga · Can anyone recommend me some shojo-ish stories with age gaps.

These are the ones I have on my "finished" list so I can 100% say they are good * **Shingeki no Eroko-san** - Student x Former office lady * **Taiyou no Ie** - High schooler x older childhood friend. * **Sensei Kunshu** - basic sensei x student shojo * **Hajimari no Nina** - 10-year-old reincarnator with her former boyfriend * **Miman Ren'ai** - 12 years old middleschooler x 30 years old programer; surprisgly wholesome * **Game Over** - older woman, young boy; if that's not your thing, read the author's other work, Love at fourteen, it's pretty good * **Koi to Yobu ni wa Kimo

r/manga · Manga recommendations that are erotic but not literal hentai

Pretty much every Shuzo Oshimi manga deals with Eros in a way or another. Definitely not slop however.

r/mangarecommendations · recommend some dark manga
