Bocchi the Rock!

r/mangarecommendations · For a teen who needs some hope/representation

It must be nice to have an older sibling just like you! Here are my recommendations: bocchi the rock (socially anxious high school girl learns to play guitar and joins a band) haikyuu (sports anime, has themes about growth and resilience) a place further than the universe (slice of life, 4 schoolgirls had a life changing adventure together) march comes in like a lion (introverted hs boy who lives alone, personal growth, one of my favs) ill try to upd if i remember others...

r/mangarecommendations · Looking for manga with protag with poor social skills

Bocchi The Rock has some pretty bad social skills and anxiety. Skip To Loafer’s FMC is kind of socially awkward from what I’ve seen.

r/Seinen · It’s funny how people associate Seinen with dark and gritty action when Crayon Shin-Chan is the 2nd best selling seinen manga of all time

Yes I am an avid seinen fan. My favorites are K-ON and Bocchi the Rock

The fluffiest anime and manga are often seinen in fact. Yuru Camp, K-On!, Bocchi the Rock!, Hidamari Sketch, Non Non Biyori, etc. are all seinen. In fact all Manga Time Kirara series are seinen.

r/Seinen · New to Manga

Golden Kamuy, Vinland Saga, Dogsred, Lands of the Lustrous, K-ON, Bocchi the Rock. Manga published in seinen magazines have a wide variety of genres. Oyasumi Punpun is a very good one but it is also incredibly heavy and CAN affect your actual mental health.
