Canis: Dear Mr. Rain

r/mangarecommendations · BL manga

I recommend pretty much all of Haji's works (Badass, Red Hood, Buddhist Priest & Spider, etc.). lots of fun action; they tend to be pretty raunchy/smutty but the characters are usually just having a good time. I also really recommend Canis by zakk. it's very grounded; the action part is technically the subplot, while the main plotline is more about creative anxieties, but I think the amount of excitement/tension is still good

If you like action(?) I'd recommend looking for policeman/yakuza/yankee trope. My recommendation on this would be honto yajuu(light-hearted) and canis series(heavier). If you want more light-hearted and realistic, look for office worker manga. Rec: sono koi, jihanki de kaemasuka?(personal fav, the couple is so cute!), old fashioned cupcake. Sometimes you'll find certain authors who always make stories in style that you like, you'll be lucky if they already have a lot of works! There are lots and lots and lots of really good manga! I hope you can find one that resonates with you.

Idk if the corn you mean is just 18+ stuff or actual c orn... but i'm going to assume the latter Interesting story! Canis series by zakk (with 18+) Night beyond tri-cornered window (no 18+, maaaybe if you squint) Long run occupation-centered with 18+ scenes occasionally Ameiro paradox(journalist), hanakoi tsurane(kabuki actor), honto yajuu(policeman/yakuza) Slice of life doukyuusei series (all the way to blanc/home) If you don't want 18+ at all, might be worth looking into shounen ai mangaka. I like nmura and hayakawa nojiko.
