Pluto by Urasawa If you liked prophecy then obviously the rest of the Tsutsui collection, starting by Noise and Poison City then Neeting Life you can skip Manhole and Prophecy the copycat. I recommend you read part of the interview at the end of Noise's first volume where he explain the kind of feel he tried to capture and it's incredible how well he succeeded with his objective. Someone else mentioned Ikigami, and I think that's a good suggestion for this. It has a structure of pretty self-contained arcs, which may not be your thing, but Yamikin Ushijima-kun fits the bill imo. Solanin, by the same author as Punpun, is very good. Different themes but it still manages to deliver on the emotional impact. Bokurano, the World is Ours is a good fit for this. It might seem a little silly based on the presented premise if you go into it completely blind, but once more details are revealed it delivers in spades imo.
