r/shoujo · Who does everyone think are the best and worst manga licensors for shoujoYen Press and Kodansha are probably the strongest when it comes to consistently licensing unique shojosei, though they both have their issues. YP has some weaker translations and a painfully slow, confusing release schedule, while Kodansha has lately been turning to Print Club more than I'd like and still has many series trapped in digital jail. r/shoujo · With Anime NYC 2026 fast approaching, here are my most-anticipated Shojo/Josei future English physical releases!Ikoku Nikki is easily the big one for me, with Fire! and Sword of Paros close behind. That being said, I do think an untranslated title could lead to some confusion, and I'm surprised they didn't either come up with a new title or compromise with Ikoku Nikki as the main title and Journal with Witch as a subtitle.
