Kengan Ashura

r/manga · Your favorite long manga?

A lot of Shonen Jump manga but also two big ones that come to mind are Kengan Ashura and Mahou Sensei Negima. The former is a battle manga that is mostly one big tournament where most of the time you never really know who's going to win. The latter is a ecchi rom com that I'm definitely having nostalgia bias. With that said it does a pivot to mainly battle shonen to what I consider great success. I also think the extended cast is genuinely great.

Kengan Ashura, little bit superhuman-esque but good. They do have a lot of bullshit, but choreography is decent

Teppu got cut short but it's still good. STAR: Strike it Rich, is a similar to Kengan Ashura that another commenter mentioned Usogui not entirely about fighting, but the fights they do have are very well choreographed Batuque by the same author is about Capoeira specifically, also well coreographed
