r/shoujo · I miss hard-headed shoujo girlsLet's not forget romance does not equal shojo! Most of romance animes adapted from manga are shonen romances. Kimagure Orange Road, Love Hina, Danngers in My Heart, My Dress Up Darling are romances that are shonen with very clear shonen vibes. Horimiya is also a shonen, albeit that one has much less of a shonen vibe (but also not clear shojo vibes, it is somewhere in between). Skip and Loafer is (in my opinion) the example of a seinen that could fit into shojo vibes. Also, did you know that Cowboy Bebop's manga adaptation was published as a shojo? That one blows my mind.

r/mangarecommendations · Trust me, this is the best harem/rom-com manga ever even though it's 18 years oldLoved Love Hina back then but it has aged poorly.
r/mangarecommendations · I am obssesd with romance manga and manhwa drop your best ones👍👍I'm currently enjoying Futari Bus. In no particular order. Kubo won't let me be invisible. Tomo-chan ha onnanoko Nisekoi The Duke of death and his maid. Otoyomegatari A silent voice Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles (this is more fantasy, but romance is a strong theme) Love hina. There's some echi in there, but overall I'd say even the echi ones have a wholesome vibe.
