r/webtoons · Haven't been reading webtoons for more than a year. Which current ones are worth reading?I think we have similar tastes haha! Here are some good webtoons: Hand Jumper - if you like grey morality oh boy, is this webtoon for you. Great thriller, mc is very much a complex character and the plot is great, very tense. Paradise on Earth - thriller with themes of isolation and reality tv, mc is great. Four Options - gorgeous art and very character driven high school romance. Absolute Regression - it’s an action murim webtoon, but it surprised me with found family themes and focus on characters. Very underrated. r/webtoons · Read Kubera - One Last God if you want to get into an extremely long and one of the most well crafted fantasy story of all time.repeating the comment I made on the OG post: Agree. r/webtoons · "Welfare Center" is the Worst Thriller Webtoon. What's the BEST FANTASY Webtoon? It does have romance in it, but the main focus is on the academy and its mysteries! My main reasoning is that when reading it, the questions aren't "omg are they gonna get together" or anything romance-centered. The questions are >!"is Duke dead? where are the Deans? What's their goal? What are Poppet and Dolly? How are they gonna escape without sacrificing everyone? etc.!< I think calling it a romance would be like calling TGED a romance. Yeah, there's a love interest and a lot of cute tension and scenes with them, but the main story isn't about that at all.
