Kowloon Generic romance is really good! It's completed with 12-13 volumes, although the last one hasn't been translated yet. It does have sci fi elements but the focus is on the characters. Our Dreams at Dusk is a little more focused on the main high school character, but it's really good and does have a lot of adult characters with depth. She Loves to Cook, She Loves to Eat is just a really solid romance manga with some drama, but not too much. I haven't read the manga, but Frieren is a very good fantasy. Especially if you're looking for something a bit slower.
