r/mangarecommendations · Do you know any manga like Witch Hat Atelier, Otoyomegatari or The Apothecary Diaries?

Witch Hat Atelier's author is good friends with the Ascendance of a Bookwork writer, so you should check that series out. Ancient Magus's Bride also fits with that crew. I'd also recommend Akai Irie's works, like Ran and the Grey World. Assuming you enjoyed the sadder aspects of WHA or the Apothacary Diaries, Nanaki Nanao's manga Helck is another great read, although the art isn't quite as good as some of the others. As well as the absolute classic, Hayao Miyazaki's Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind.
