Skip Beat!

r/mangarecommendations · Viz manga reccomendation for holiday

if you liked nana and my love mix up, maybe try skip beat or ouran on viz, they’re fun without being super heavy or super male gaze-y. also blue flag is kinda emotional but still pretty light to binge on a trip.

r/mangarecommendations · Need help selecting manga

I’ve only read Tail of the Moon and Skip Beat! from this list (digitally), and I really liked both. Since artwork seems especially important to you, though, I’d recommend checking out some sample pages first, because they have a very different shoujo style from something like Platinum End. Skip Beat! in particular starts with a very early 2000s shoujo art style, but it changes quite a lot over the course of the series and gradually becomes much more modern looking. I personally like both of them, but whether the art appeals to you will probably come down to taste. Also, if you found Oresama

r/webtoons · I cannot express how much I actually loved Daytime Star

Yup. If anyone is a longtime Skip Beat fan - this scratched the itch by actually finishing but having the acting part a little. (I know, I know, it’s not the same with background etc but also…slowest of slow burns.)
