r/manga · Help out a millennial that isn't into the new shounens these days - Recs pleaseI've have similar opinions on the newer battle/action shounen, just can't get into them anymore. You like Tezuka works, have you looked into <Legend of Dororo and Hyakimaru> yet? It's another adaptation of Dororo, with a similar tone and style as the 2019 anime. I've really been enjoying more slower monthly series like <Moriarty the Patriot> and <Case study of Vanitas>. Though with Vanitas, I'm a fan of the author so there is some bais. Pandora Hearts and Case study of Vanitas are personal favorites of mine. Premises don't automatically seem wild but when the villains or character backstories start coming out, its on the darker side. D. Gray-man as well, the premises does seem rather stan
