Children of the Sea

r/Seinen · Top 10 manga of all time?

Something like: Sunny by Taiyo Matsumoto  Shimeji Simulation by Tsukumizu Children of the Sea by Daisuke Igarashi Robosapiens by Shimada Toranosuke Solanin by Inio Asano  Opus by Satoshi Kon Dai Dark by Q Hayashida Planetes by Makoto Yukimura Flowers of Evil by Shūzō Oshimi Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou by Hitoshi Ashinano. Could be 20 or so that I feel the sort of same about though I’d elevate Matsumoto above most I think. I think he’s my favorite cartoonist in the world atm along with Jaime.

A Bride’s Story, or any other manga by Kaoru Mori Witch Hat Atelier by Kamome Shirahama has gorgeous art as well as a classic fantasy coming of age story Children of the Sea by Daisuke Igarashi (not to be confused with Children of the Whales above) has beautiful, ethereal, detailed artwork
