Dance in the Vampire Bund

Hellsing : 10 volumes, complete. Anime: Hellsing Ultimate (10 OVAs). Very dark, violent, gothic vampire action. Probably the safest recommendation if you want badass vampires + blood + gothic atmosphere. Vampire Hunter D : manga adaptations vary, but the original novel series is ongoing. Bloodlust is a movie. Extremely gothic: castles, aristocratic vampires, dhampirs, horror and tragic romance. Very strong choice if aesthetics matter to you. Shiki : 11 volumes, complete. Anime: 22 episodes. Starts slowly but becomes seriously dark and disturbing. More horror than stylish vampire action

First of all, gonna second Vampire Hunter D, VHD: Bloodlust, and Hellsing (OG Hellsing is still my preference, but Ultimate is newer with a little cleaner animation) A few other good ones: Blood: The Last Vampire Blood+ Dance in the Vampire Bund And for silly/fanservicey: Rosario+Vampire
