Melancholia

If you liked Melancholia, you might want to try some of Dowman Sayman's other works. Even his longest manga aren't super long, but something like Nickelodeon might be good. Imitation Crystal / Mozou Crystal's works are also pretty short, I'm a fan of <Game Club> , though many would say <Spectral Wizard> and the sequel is some of their best.

<Shoulder a coffin Kuro>, I can't remember the exact length buts its a 7- 8 volume non comedy 4 Koma series. <The Voynich Hotel> it's not a normal recommendation, because the content is iffy to say the least. It's 3 volumes. It's from the same mangaka as Melancholia, so similar content wise and tone. <I am Alice, Body swap in Wonderland> it's a little rushed overall, it's a 3 volume, the name gives a good idea of what the plot is going to be. <This ugly yet Beautiful world> it's a manga adaptation of a Gainax original anime. Basically alien comes to earth to destroy it and loves saves day k
