Otherside Picnic

r/shoujo · Recommends written by male mangaka’s

If we are talking shojousei authors, I think the best example is Kunihiko Ikuhara. He directed and wrote classics like Revolutionary Girl Utena, Penguindrum and Yuri Kuma Arashi. When it comes to manga you have guys like Hiro who recently started Shita Kanda Toki to Daitai Issho. Although, I can't find any translation yet. Basically, most men who make animanga for women do it with yuri or yuri adjacent works. Both Ikuhara and Hiro have that under their belt. Otherside Picnic and Adachi and Shimamura are hugely popular yuri serie authored by men

Still very early in the story so it might changes later. Got dropped into a ghort story, still have to work - horror, mystery. Great story but could be lengthy. You might want to read the novel.
